People ask me everyday about how to make fitness a lifestyle. To me, the goal is to cultivate “total fitness” – getting the most out of life by being your best, most energetic self in and out of the gym.

Using the insights I’ve gained from more than two decades training dancers, athletes and CEOs, I’ve developed a strategy for training your total self.

Each session incorporates the best of yoga, dance, cirque, martial arts, meditation and physical therapy into individualized sessions shaped to each person’s lifestyle.

With more than two decades of fitness training under his belt, Reggie Palma brings to his clients a unique combination of stretching, exercise, and soft tissue therapy that energizes them to feel like their best selves. He brings the tips and tricks learned from coaching athletes, performers, and CEOs and adapts them for everyday life.

Reggie started his training career at 18 by opening up a martial arts academy. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from The University of Houston, Reggie started his career as a fitness instructor at several top gyms.

Finding there was a need for a new way to train, he founded Fitness at Your Door in Honolulu, Hawaii, providing customized coaching to a band of loyal clients. He went on to earn two degrees – a Masters in Anatomy and Physiology from the University of Hawaii and a Masters in Health Science from the University of Alabama. Reggie also interned with a talented holistic osteopath for many years. Along this incredible journey, he perfected workouts that one client described as “almost effortless yet so effective.”

In 2015, Reggie underwent open heart surgery to fix a congenital (inherited) heart issue. Using the same techniques he uses in his instruction, he bounced back and renewed his drive to share his knowledge of the human anatomy with others. Today, Reggie is a passionate advocate of mind and body wellness while living in New Orleans with his wife Jessica and son Emory.
